Job Description
Established Land surveying firm in So. Bay Area is seeking a Land Surveyor in Training. This person will perform duties in the office and the field. This person must have a clean driving record and have Civil 3D drafting experience. My client produces topographic and boundary surveys, record of surveys, A.L.T.A. surveys, short plats, long plats, final plats, boundary line agreements and adjustments, elevation certificates, easement exhibits, and more.
Responsibilities: • Preparation of topographic surveys, boundary surveys, and ALTA Surveys, etc. under the direction of a professional land surveyor.• Associate degree in related field preferred
• 3 - 5+ years’ experience preparing topographic & boundary surveys, and other surveys.
• Prior field experience required
• Drafting experience with Civil 3D
• LSIT or PLS a PLUS
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite
• Self-motivated, detail oriented, well organized, with strong technical writing and communication skills
• Ability to work independently or as part of a team
• Comprehend standard and complicated legal descriptions
• MUST have clean DMV driving record
• Pass background check (live scan fingerprinting)
• Ability to manage multiple projects, and multi-task
