As a Junior Video Editor, you will be responsible for creating and editing high-quality video content that effectively communicates our brand message and promotes our products and services. You will work closely with our marketing team to develop engaging and visually appealing videos for various platforms, including social media, websites, and presentations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Edit raw footage into polished and professional videos for various marketing purposes
- Collaborate with the marketing team to understand project objectives and create videos that align with our brand and messaging
- Use creative storytelling techniques to engage and captivate our target audience
- Add visual effects, graphics, and sound to enhance the overall quality of the videos
- Ensure all videos are delivered on time and meet the company's standards for quality and accuracy
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and techniques to continuously improve the quality of our videos
- Assist with video shoots, including setting up equipment, lighting, and sound as needed
- Manage and organize video files and assets for easy access and retrieval
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Film, Video Production, or a related field
- 1-2 years of experience in video editing, preferably in a marketing or advertising setting
- Proficient in video editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro and After Effects
- Knowledge of video production techniques, including lighting, sound, and camera operation
- Strong storytelling and creative skills with an eye for detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Strong time management and organizational skills
- A portfolio or demo reel showcasing previous video editing work is a plus
