Role Overview:
The Specialist, Investor Relations will play a pivotal role in maintaining and strengthening the company’s relationships with its investors. This individual will be the primary point of contact for all investor communications, responsible for conveying the status of their real estate investments and understanding the broader commercial real estate market's impact on these investments.
Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with the company's investors, providing high-quality customer service and support.
Communicate effectively with investors to explain the status of their investments, including updates on market trends, property performance, and strategic company decisions affecting their portfolios.
Manage and update the company’s CRM system to ensure accurate and timely investor information, facilitating efficient communication and record-keeping.
Analyze and understand the commercial real estate market, including trends, challenges, and opportunities, to provide informed updates to investors.
Address investor concerns with compassion and professionalism, offering clear and concise explanations and solutions.
Prepare and present reports on investor relations activities and investor feedback to senior management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree. Must be able to learn, understand, and communicate financial and market data.
Minimum of 2 years of experience in investor relations, customer service, or a related field within the financial or real estate sector.
Strong understanding of the commercial real estate market and financial principles related to real estate investments.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and persuasively.
Demonstrated ability to manage a CRM system effectively.
Exceptional interpersonal skills and a proven track record of building and maintaining strong professional relationships.
High level of empathy and the ability to address investor concerns with understanding and professionalism.
Compensation:
Salary will be based depending on qualifications and experience.
Kingsbarn was founded as a real estate development and investment firm (Kingsbarn Realty Capital) by our CEO, Jeff Pori, almost a decade ago. Jeff had spent the better part of the last 30 years building a deep, complex portfolio of property developments and other real estate investments for his clients. Having successfully created significant investment opportunities in the real assets segment of the investment horizon via his real estate solutions, Jeff decided to expand the growth opportunities he has directly generated for his clients in real assets to other asset classes and investment strategies.
In addition to real estate development and investments, Kingsbarn now offers fixed income, equity, and alternative strategies to investors via financial intermediaries. In 2020, Kingsbarn Capital and Development was founded as the company’s development arm to expand its product offerings for investors to include ground-up development of real estate assets. The company also recently invested in several joint ventures that provide much needed medical treatment, pharmaceutical ingredients and food additives.
