Job Description

What You'll Do: Supports and demonstrates IMA's core values Values and understands the importance of diversity, equity and inclusion among all IMA associates. Develops and executes communication plans that clearly articulate objectives, strategies and tactics, and align with/promote IMA's vision Drafts compelling content that highlights IMA's associates and their incredible stories Supports IMA Central, our intranet, with day-to-day project management, content development, creation of web pages, and content owner training Manages editorial calendar and communications channels, including scheduling content across channels Manages and own the company's internal newsletter, including content planning, writing, editing, and distribution to ensure timely, engaging, and aligned communication across the organization Writes, edits and develops content that is clear, concise and grammatically correct and aligns with IMA's internal brand Collaborates with various stakeholders on communications projects and collateral creation and implementation Stays updated on industry trends and best practices in internal communications to ensure the company's approach remains innovative and effective Participates in other projects and tasks as needed You Should Have: 2-4 years of experience in Internal Communications, Public Relations or a related field Experience supporting internal communications efforts including Operations, Human Resources, Finance, Sales and/or Marketing Bachelor's degree in English, Communications, Journalism or related degree Superior verbal, writing, editing and proofreading skills (writing samples are part of the interview process) Ability to effectively organize material, distill complex ideas and write lively and appealing content in a variety of voices Critical thinking and problem-solving skills with ability to prioritize and multitask in a fast-paced environment Project management skills and the ability to quickly shift priorities based on business needs Well-honed interpersonal and relationship-building skills that facilitate strong working relationships with key internal stakeholders, including executive management Expertise in Microsoft Office Working knowledge of email marketing platforms, intranet content management systems and digital signage software Basic knowledge of video editing software Ability to work independently regarding matters of significance The anticipated posting timeline for this opportunity is 12/23/2024-01/31/2025.
