Design Assistant - Luxury Interior Design Firm (Los Angeles) 

OHARA DAVIES-GAETANO INTERIORS , a high-end residential design firm, seeks a Design Assistant with 1-3 years of design firm experience to work alongside our Project Managers and Designers on luxury residential interior design projects .

UNDER THE GUIDANCE OF THE PROJECT TEAM DESIGNER AND PROJECT MANAGER YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES WILL INCLUDE: 

• Preparation of client presentations (Powerpoint//Miro/PhotoShop, Space planning, printing, pricing, and maintaining organization of designer selections and presentation format) 
• Following up with vendors on orders and lead times 
• Coordination and filing of CFAs and RMAs 
• Residential Space Planning New product sourcing per designer’s request 
• Product quoting/pricing 
• Coordinate and manage project tasks alongside designer and project manager 
• Communication with vendors and other service providers 

REQUIREMENTS: 

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) 
• AutoCAD (REQUIRED) 
• Studio Designer and/or Photoshop (a plus) 
• Strong detail orientation 
• Excellent people management skills and team player 
• Enthusiastic, positive, whatever-it-takes attitude 
• Residential interior design experience 
• Space planning experience 
• Strong oral, written, and organizational skills 
• Ability to hand sketch 
• Ability to multitask in fast-paced environment 
• Excellent problem-solving skills and resourcefulness
