Our Opportunity North American Lighting (NAL) is looking for an
Information Security Analyst - II to join our team. The ideal candidate will perform information security risk assessments, security improvement processes, and administration of security-related software.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities Your Priorities - Administers, maintains, and supports anti-virus solutions, host-based IPS, and security-related software necessary to protect the company IT infrastructure from external or internal threats.
- Investigates, evaluates, and reports suspicious activity and actual or potential security violations.
- Performs vulnerability scans, and takes appropriate action to resolve identified vulnerabilities.
- Tests and implements new security solutions and enhancements to existing security solutions.
- Promotes activities to promote IT security education and awareness throughout the company.
- Participates in capital and expense budget planning.
Requirements Your Background Education: BS/BA in Computer Science, Information Management or Technology, or related discipline, plus 2 - 4 years of professional experience in IT in the role of a Security Analyst in a technical environment.
Experience: Experience in two or more of the following (or equivalent):
- Symantec Endpoint protection
- Syslog
- Lotus Domino Suite of Products
- Microsoft WSUS
- RADIUS
Experience with three of the following is preferred:
- Wireless Networking
- Scripting Languages
- Windows/Linux Server Administration
- VPNs
- Network Analyzers
- IDS/IPS
- Firewalls
- Penetration Testing
