IMPORT COORDINATOR

Montgomery International, Inc. is hiring immediately for an Import Coordinator to join our team in Essington, PA. The Import Coordinator will be responsible for receiving and reviewing import documentation for accounts while ensuring that all documentation is accurately processed in a timely manner. The ideal Import Coordinator will have logistics experience and must possess an understanding of import regulations. Apply online today!

Import Coordinator Duties and Responsibilities

• Process import Customs clearances for ocean, air, truck shipments. 
• Communicate daily with clients, carriers, suppliers, and various departments within the company
• Maintain/update customer profiles for all clients. Operational duties to include coordination with importers, shippers, truckers, steamship lines, and overseas offices for the import of shipments
• Complete process of shipment may include arranging for foreign pick-up, booking, ocean/air transport with various foreign agents around the world within our networks. Customs and other PGA (Participating Government Agencies) clearances such as FDA, USDA, EPA, etc. Follow-up with tracking and tracing to final destination
• Maintain communication with customer, carriers, and other parties involved with the import transaction. 
• Resolve issues respective to meeting client requirements, data input - general customer service inquiries related to tracking & tracing. Post entry follow-up when necessary. 
• A minimum of 3 years experience
• Proficient in Office Programs (Word, Excel, etc.)
• Salary Commensurate with Experience
