Highway Striping Technician Needed!

Position: Highway Striping Technician - motivated and detail-oriented individual responsible for applying markings on streets, roads, and highways, adhering to regulations, and contributing to a safer driving environment for motorists.

Key Responsibilities:

• Operate striping equipment to apply paint, thermoplastic, and other marking materials to road surfaces.
• Read and interpret plans, specifications, and drawings.
• Perform routine maintenance on striping equipment.
• Work collaboratively with team members to complete projects accurately and on time.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed.
• Accurately follow detailed instructions.

Job Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent certificate.
• Must have a valid driver's license - with a valid CDL preferred.
• Flexible and dependable availability - including weekends.
• Dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Prior highway construction or striping experience will be preferred.
• Prior traffic control experience will be preferred.

Applicant Requirements:

• Valid email address.
• Ability to follow detailed instructions from supervisors or other senior crew members.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand specifications.
• Ability to work outdoors in all seasons and varying weather conditions.
• Ability to lift and handle at least 75 pounds.
• Ability to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
