Job Description

Hours 8:00 AM - 4:00 PM 5 days a week

The Housekeeping and Laundry Attendant is responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of the club on a daily basis. This person will also help provide a constant supply of clean linens for the club.

Job Duties:

• Clean, vacuum, dust, and empty trash in all offices
• Clean members' bathrooms, replenish soap, paper, etc.
• Clean brass veranda doors and windows from fingerprints, etc.
• Dust pictures and mounted fish
• Clean Salon and Boardroom
  • Floor
  • Dust, etc.

• Clean pool bathrooms
• Check and replenish the kitchen paper towels and soap
• Clean Cabanas
• Sanitize - spray & wipe surfaces
• Clean windows - spray & wipe
• Clean waiting areas
• Clean hall windows, doors, pictures, etc...
• Clean and mop doormats
• Clean wood floors
• Clean Anchor Room bar and brass footrest
• Check all wood and windows in Anchor Room and Porch for fingerprints and clean
• Lobby:
  • Clean brass in the front door and windows - spray and wipe
  • Clean brass compass - spray and wipe
  • Clean the bar, brass footrest, and door latches - spray and wipe
• Trophy Case:
  • Clean trophies
  • Clean glass doors inside and outside
  • Clean shelves
• Downstairs:
  • Clean windows and sweep, mop, and organize employees' dining room
  • Clean employee bathrooms
  • Replenish supplies
  • Clean docks bathrooms and replace all supplies
• Laundry:
  • Separate linens, wash and dry, iron when needed
  • Empty laundry bags in employee restrooms, put bags back on racks and pick up any loose and dirty laundry from restrooms
  • Wash pool towels and fold them - then place them in appropriate rack

• Clean Laundry Room
  • Clean line traps in dryers
  • Clean washing machines with Sheila Shine
  • Clean floors, windows, and fans
  • Empty trash cans and insert new bags
• Clean Fitness Center

• Other duties as assigned by manager.

Qualifications:

• Must be able to stand, bend, kneel, and walk for long periods of time
• Must be able to lift 25 lbs
• Must be able to work required shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
