Home Inspector

Overview of Duties and Responsibilities

This position is responsible for conducting building inspections, completing electronic reports, and providing excellent customer service. In addition to building inspections we would require candidates to perform additional ancillary services. Must be able to work in unusual and sometimes difficult positions, such as climbing ladders, crawlspaces, attics & roofs. We're seeking a team member who fits our culture of personal and professional development. 

Qualifications & Abilities 

• Ohio Home Inspector License (if you feel you're a good fit for the position but do not have licensure/certificate, may be considered)
• Excellent Customer Service Skills
• Oral Communication Skills - Strong Written Communication Skills
  • Proficient use of PC and/or laptop, internet, e-mail and camera
• Professionalism
• Strong mechanical attitude 
• Desire for professional development: continuing education is a yearly requirement. Our team learns new skills and acquires new certificates/licensing on a regular basis. We're seeking a team member who fits our culture of personal and professional development.

Candidates are required to have a valid driver's license, reliable vehicle suitable for home inspection equipment, current automobile insurance, a good driving record, internet access and a cell phone. A full criminal background check is required for employment. We provide flexible scheduling, software, E&O insurance, and all back office support.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $40,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year (based on experience)
