About the Role
The Company is seeking a hands-on Head of People to join their global startup. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing all HR functions for a fully remote team of 250 employees worldwide. This role requires a professional with over 10 years of experience in a fintech or startup environment, who has a proven track record of fully owning and operating all areas of human resources. Key responsibilities for the Head of People include overseeing HR strategy and processes, managing the full employee lifecycle from offer letters to exit interviews, and leading recruitment efforts. The role also involves creating and managing the employee handbook, overseeing employee engagement and culture, and being a resource for the team. The ideal candidate will have experience with HRIS and payroll systems, and be adept at compensation grading, org chart management, and employee/manager review cycles. The ideal candidate for the Head of People position at the company will have a background in fintech, tech, engineering, or a similar startup environment. Spanish language skills are a plus. The role is highly hands-on and requires a candidate who is ready to take on the challenge of a rapidly growing, global team. The Head of People will be the go-to person for all HR-related matters and will have one direct report to assist with administrative tasks. This is an urgent hire, and the company is looking for a dedicated professional who can hit the ground running and make a significant impact on the organization's HR function.
