The Hazardous Waste Technician will work and collaborate with the Maintenance department, Lab department and the EHS Engineer. This position will be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with the collection, inspection and safe/compliant handling of hazardous waste and materials generated by our facility. The position requires effective communication skills, a self-driven approach while working well with cross-functional teams.
\nThe Hazardous Waste Technician will assist with performing preventative maintenance, chemical transfers and wastewater treatment tasks as required.
\nThe position performs its primary functions in a climate-controlled and modern facility.
