General Production Worker

As a General Production Worker, you will be responsible for pulling, packing, and loading products onto pallets. You will monitor quality, stack orders based on daily requirements, and manage inventory counting. This role requires the ability to lift up to 25 pounds repetitively and stand for over 10 hours daily. High attention to detail is essential.

Responsibilities:

Essential Skills:

• Experience in warehouse, production, and general labor tasks.
• Proficiency in picking, packing, palletizing, and using RF scanners.
• Attention to detail and comfort with repetitive tasks.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Previous experience as a picker/packer.
• Experience working in manufacturing, warehousing, or distribution environments.

Work Environment:

Work shifts are available from Monday to Friday. The first shift runs from 7 AM to 3:30 PM, with some days requiring 10-hour shifts from 5 AM to 3:30 PM. The second shift operates from 3:30 PM to 12 AM, with some days requiring 10-hour shifts from 3:30 PM to 2 AM. The facility is non-climate controlled but not excessively hot. GMP guidelines must be followed, including wearing hairnets and beard coverings if applicable, and avoiding jewelry, false eyelashes, false nails, body glitter, exposed nail polish, perfumes, or after-shave. Steel-toe shoes are not required.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of La Vergne, TN.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $17.00 - $19.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
