General Production Worker

We are seeking General Production Operators to join our team in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. This role involves operating and monitoring machines, ensuring product quality, and maintaining production flow.

Responsibilities:

• Load and unload machines safely and efficiently.
• Monitor machine operations and report issues promptly.
• Perform quality checks on products as they come off the machine.
• Stack and band finished products for shipment.
• Use a tape measure and read customer labels to ensure product accuracy.

Essential Skills:

• Experience in production and machine operating.
• Proficiency with hand tools and forklifts.
• Familiarity with assembly line and general production processes.
• Ability to perform general labor and packaging tasks.
• Capability to read and use a tape measure.

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Ability to lift, bend, squat, and stand for 1012 hours per day.
• Commitment to not miss any scheduled workdays during the first 90 days.
• Physically capable of handling repetitive tasks in a non-climate-controlled environment.
• Basic measurement and label-reading skills.

Work Environment:

The position is set in a fast-paced, non-climate-controlled manufacturing environment. Employees are expected to work 10-12 hour shifts, involving physical tasks such as lifting, bending, and standing. The role requires the use of various hand tools and machinery, including forklifts, in a team-oriented setting.

Job Type & Location:

This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Decatur, AL.

Pay and Benefits:

The pay range for this position is $20.25 - $20.30/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
