Gardener (Full-Time & Part-Time)

Location: Poughkeepsie, NY 

Pay: $20+/hr (based on experience) 

Seasonal Schedule: April – November

• Full-time: Monday-Friday, 8 AM-4 PM
• Part-time: Flexible days (Monday–Friday), 8 AM-4 PM

Join Our Team at Organic Matters Organic Matters is looking for seasonal full-time and part-time Gardeners to help create and maintain stunning gardens, landscapes, and outdoor spaces.

What You'll Do

• Plant and care for trees, shrubs, perennials, bulbs, and some fruits and vegetables
• Perform essential landscape maintenance, including weeding, edging, pruning, mulching, and debris management
• Use hand tools and light power equipment such as electric mowers, blowers, and trimmers
• Follow daily work plans and track time and materials

What We’re Looking For

Required:

• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Ability to lift 40 lbs without limitation
• Willingness to work outdoors in various weather conditions
• Positive attitude, strong work ethic, and attention to detail

Preferred:

• Previous gardening or landscaping experience (helpful but not required)
