Note: This posting combines related roles and responsibilities for a Conversational Designer focusing on immersive AI character experiences within the Metaverse. Responsibilities Design and develop urn-based dialogue systems that simulate human-like conversations. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to establish processes and align on project goals. Contribute to strategic decisions with Design, Product, and Executive teams to shape AI character experiences. Create end-to-end conversational flows with engaging mechanics and dialogue loops. Provide and solicit real-time feedback from other designers to improve product quality; partner with PMs, engineers, researchers, content strategists, and QA to oversee implementation from concept to launch and post-launch support. Solve issues quickly with cross-functional leads, including user research, data science, and product management. Articulate conversational design decisions to internal stakeholders. Advocate for conversational design within the organization and across relevant teams. Minimum Qualifications 5+ years of experience in conversational design, linguistics, or a related field. Portfolio demonstrating ability to design and develop engaging conversational systems. Experience with linguistic techniques and conversational mechanics. Strong understanding of user experience principles and human-centered design. Excellent communication and collaboration skills. Preferred Qualifications 10+ years of experience in conversational design, linguistics, or a related field. Experience with AI and machine learning technologies, dialogue management systems, and NLP tools. Familiarity with VR/AR technologies.
