Consolidated Precision Products (CPP-Cudahy) has an immediate need for an NDT/FPI level II, 2nd shift. Purpose of this position is to perform the required duties relating to penetrant processing of product.

Pay Range : $26.00 - $30.00 per hour DOE =+ 2nd shift differential.
2nd Shift Hours: 1:30pm-10PM + overtime as needed
Essential Functions/Job Duties: • Interpret codes, standards, specifications and other contractual documentation related to NDT methods acceptance criteria.
• Create techniques for specific penetrant inspection tests.
• Prepare testing procedures.
• Coordinate with foundry and engineering personnel in the manufacturing process on test results.
• Conduct and direct the training of personnel in applicable NDT methods
• Perform NDT inspections as long as the demonstration of proficiency of this capability is included in the practical examination upon which, in part, the certification is based.
• Set-up Penetrant equipment, process hardware in accordance with the applicable customer specification and with the procedures approved by the Level III under the guidance of a Level III.
• Verify on corresponding router that previous operations have been completed
• Process parts through the penetrant line which includes washing, dipping parts in oil, drying and expediting the parts to the next stage of the process.
• Log daily jobs.
• Perform daily housekeeping at the end of the shift and keep area clean and organized
• Attend department safety meetings and trainings
• Provide coverage in the absence of co-workers as needed
Requirements: - High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
- Currently or previously certified to NDT in Penetrant Testing.
- Manufacturing experience preferred
- Basic math skills
- Ability to read and to write legibly
- Good communication skills
- Good problem-solving skills
