The opportunity

Delaware North Gaming is searching for a Food and Beverage Manager to join our team at Wheeling Island Casino in Wheeling, West Virginia. This role is responsible for managing the Front of House operations for all assigned food and beverage outlets on the property. Other responsibilities include scheduling, hiring, mentoring staff, ensuring an excellent guest experience, performing monthly inventories as well as other various duties.

Pay

Minimum – Anticipated Maximum Base Salary: $46,100 - $62,200 / year

In addition to base salary, we offer an annual bonus plan based on company and individual performance, or a role-based, uncapped sales incentive plan. The advertised pay range represents what we believe at the time of this job posting, that we would be willing to pay for this position. Only in special circumstances, where a candidate has education, training, or experience that far exceeds the requirements for the position, would we consider paying higher than the stated range. What will you do?

• Hire, train, and manage an effective team of associates, providing feedback on their job responsibilities and alignment with Delaware North programs service standards
• Research and develop new policies, procedures, menus, and control policies that elevate service standards and accountability of staff

More about you

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Restaurant Manager, Assistant Manager, or similar role, preferably in a high-volume establishment with experience managing budgets, cost control, inventory, and an understanding of P&L’s
• Strong food knowledge with a variety of menus and previous experience supervising service personnel required
• Experience in effectively leading a team is required
• No degree required
