Company and Position Description:Liatris Inc. is a innovative clean energy start-up that is revolutionizing the building insulation industry with its high-performance, environmentally friendly materials. With over $7 million in R&D funding from top corporate and government partners, the company is now gearing up to launch its first product on a large scale. To support this growth, we are looking for a dynamic Finance & Administration Analyst to streamline our internal operations. The ideal candidate should have a solid understanding of basic computer skills (Google and/or MS Office, AI programs) and a background in Finance and/or Accounting. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are a must for this role, as the Analyst will report directly to the Commercial Operations Manager.Responsibilities:Manage key administrative systems (Gusto, Quickbooks) and office functions (basic supplies, team scheduling etc.) .Provide operational support to management, including preparing regular analysis and reporting.Maintain company records via cloud-based filing system.Administer payroll, rent, insurance and other regular financial transactions.Seek additional responsibility as needed in a fast-paced, deadline driven, team-oriented environment.Qualifications:1-2 years prior work experience or equivalent internship / work study in Administration, Finance or (Business) Operations.Proficient in Google and/or MS Office Suite and entry-level AI programs (Chat GPT, Google Gemini, Microsoft Co-Pilot, etc.).Excellent communication, interpersonal, organization and planning skillsStrong passion for working in an entrepreneurial environment dedicated to affordably delivering societal benefitsHigh School Diploma or equivalent: Associates or Bachelors Degree preferred.
