The Washington Post Features Department is seeking an industrious, organized professional with a strong interest in journalism and an abiding love of arts and culture to join our team as an editorial aide.
The work done in this role is foundational to the journalism we produce as a department. Our ideal candidate is curious, collaborative, driven and reliable. It's a job that requires the ability to juggle a long list of disparate tasks photo research, proofreading, project assistance, opening mail and answering phones but comes with the opportunity to hone feature writing skills while working alongside a team of writers and editors devoted to the craft.

This position is based in our Washington, D.C., newsroom.

The salary range for this position is: $42,300.00 $63,500.00. The actual salary within this range will depend on individual skills, experience, and qualifications as they relate to specific job requirements.
That's why our offices are designed with open layouts, modern technology, and easy access to transportation. With certain exceptions for newsgathering and business travel, we work on-site five days a week.
