At Maimonides every nurse is a leader of patient care, dedicated to clinical excellence in every facet of their nursing practice. We currently seek a Family Nurse Practitioner to join our Interventional Radiology Team.

We require:

• Completion of an accredited Family Nurse Practitioner program with current NYS Licensure and registration
• RN Critical care experience (2+ years preferred)
• Experience in procedural environment/specialty (i.e. Surgery, GI, Cardiology preferred)
• Excellent clinical experience
• Must be able to do or willing to learn minor suturing, and minimally invasive procedures relevant to IR practices.
• Serving as a liaison between the patient, the nursing staff, and the referring physician
• Orchestrating patient admissions and discharge
• Writing pre- and post-procedure notes and orders
• Participate in inpatient/outpatient consultations
• Valid DEA#

We Prefer:

• Fluency in a second language
• ANCC or AANP certification

Salary $138,957 base pay (increase by 5% Jan 1, 2025) $3,500 certification PLUS 1K for every year of verifiable experience as an RN.
