Job Description
We are looking for a dedicated Facilities Coordinator to join our team in Northborough, MA. In this role, you will oversee daily operations, ensuring the facility runs smoothly and adheres to established protocols. This is a long-term contract position, offering the opportunity to work onsite in a dynamic environment that includes active loading docks and a warehouse setting.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate facility operations, including monitoring janitorial services and ensuring compliance with established scopes of work.
• Serve as the liaison between management and clients, addressing facility-related concerns and resolving issues promptly.
• Oversee the warehouse environment, ensuring safety and efficiency at active loading docks.
• Maintain strong customer service standards, providing timely support and communication to stakeholders.
• Ensure strict adherence to facility protocols and access point regulations.
• Conduct routine checks to identify and address any operational issues within the facility.
• Collaborate with vendors and contractors to ensure tasks are completed to satisfaction.
• Support the transition of janitorial vendors, ensuring smooth onboarding and adherence to performance expectations.
• Utilize basic knowledge of Office Suite to manage documentation and communication efficiently.
• Maintain a self-motivated approach to completing tasks independently and proactively.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in facilities coordination or a related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent education.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and able to manage tasks independently without constant supervision.
• Basic proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite for documentation and reporting purposes.
• Ability to work onsite five days a week in Northborough, MA.
• Familiarity with facility protocols, shipping processes, and warehouse environments.
• Nice to have: Basic understanding of work order systems to facilitate operational tasks.
