Our growing elder law and estate planning law firm is seeking an experienced Estate Planning Attorney to handle matters from engagement through closing, including facilitating client design meetings, document preparation, and client review meetings. Your excellent communication and writing skills are important as you thoughtfully assist clients with their estate plans.

This position will operate primarily from our Clear Lake office.

$100,000+

• Meet with clients to understand their estate planning needs, document with detailed notes the results of the meeting, strategize and make recommendations and prepare comprehensive, customized Estate Plans.
• Work collaboratively as part of a team.
• Work with third-party professionals such as Financial Planners, CPAs, and Insurance Agents.
• Manage all aspects of a client's matter from engagement to close.
• Supervise the work of junior legal team members (Paralegal and/or Legal Assistants) assigned to assist with production and delivery.

• Licensed member of the Texas State Bar.
• 3+ years experience in Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Administration.
• Strong research and writing skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office, including Word and Excel, experience with Wealth Counsel a plus.
• Excellent organizational skills.
• Background and experience assisting clients with tax matters a plus.
• Experience managing a full caseload.
