Estate Planning Associate Attorney with 3+ Years of Experience

For over 100 years, the Farr Law Firm P.A. has served Southwest Florida and remains dedicated to the responsible development of the business, social, and cultural climate of this growing, beautiful, and prosperous region. We are looking for Estate Planning attorneys to join our growing trusts and estates practice in Punta Gorda, Venice, and Sarasota.

TYPICAL DAY

• Client Management – Communicate with clients to commence an engagement, to keep the matter moving forward on a timely basis, and to make certain that the firm’s efforts are in tune with the client’s needs
• Drafting documents
• Meeting with clients to execute documents
• Assist with any other legal matters as needed

QUALIFICATIONS

• Juris Doctor Degree
• Minimum of three years of experience
• Strong academic credentials
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Organized, efficient, and friendly with a strong work ethic
• Experience in drafting wills, trusts, and other estate planning documents
• Understanding of the state and federal tax laws, wills and trusts
• Ability to anticipate client needs; forward-thinking and solutions-oriented approach
• Strong Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) skills

HOW TO STAND OUT

• Prior experience in estate planning matters preferred
• Strong problem-solving skills and entrepreneurial initiative
• Seasoned negotiation, drafting, and analytical skills
