Carga, formerly ShipTracks, is seeking a motivated and energetic Entry-Level Business Development Specialist to join our growing team. This role is designed as a steppingstone to outside sales, offering hands-on experience and training in the sales cycle from lead generation to client acquisition. As Carga expands its presence and offerings, we seek a highly motivated salesperson to develop customer relationships, engage with the maritime community and exceed sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

• Initiate contact with prospective clients via phone and email to set appointments for the sales team
• Assist in creating and following up on sales proposals and quotes
• Support and execute email marketing campaigns
• Develop personalized call plans to support campaign objectives and hit outreach goals
• Stay informed on industry trends and competitor offerings
• Consistently meet or exceed performance targets
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records in the CRM system

Requirements

• 1–3 years of B2B sales or related experience
• Strong time management and organizational skills
• Self-starter with a collaborative mindset and a sense of urgency
• Ability to work independently without constant supervision
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
• Experience with CRM systems is a plus

Additional Information

Incentive plan available. Actual compensation above salary is dependent on the individual’s determination and perseverance in closing sales.
