Job Summary

As a Summer Intern at Black & Veatch in Overland Park, KS, you will play a meaningful role in addressing some of the world’s most critical infrastructure challenges. Key Responsibilities

• As an Engineering Technician Intern, you will work with the Virtual Design & Data Solutions Team and serve as a resource for an assigned function: Civil, Mechanical, Structural or Electrical.
• Utilize drafting and modeling software such as AutoCAD, MicroStation, Revit to complete assigned projects.
• Meet budget and scheduling restraints

Minimum Qualifications

Current enrollment in a 2 or 4 year Engineering Technology program. No experience required. All applicants must be able to complete pre-employment onboarding requirements (if selected) which may include any/all of the following: criminal/civil background check, drug screen, and motor vehicle records search, in compliance with any applicable laws and regulations.

Work Environment/Physical Demands

This intern position is expected to be in the office on a full-time basis.
