Job Description
We are seeking a skilled Electronics Test Technician to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting up and conducting tests on electronic assemblies and testing apparatus. This role involves preparing and assembling units for production electronic equipment according to specific designs and configurations, as well as adjusting and calibrating systems as required.
Key Responsibilities:
Prepare and assemble units for production electronic equipment according to specific designs and configurations.
Adjust and calibrate systems as required, including modifying electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by drawings, BOMs, and engineering requirements.
Troubleshoot assets by replacing parts or components as required, using small power and hand tools, as well as various testing and measurement devices.
Determine tests to be performed on equipment for fleet and engineering support.
Develop and modify test procedures for building, testing, and storage of legacy equipment and apparatus.
Construct, troubleshoot, test, diagnose, repair, and maintain equipment, components, and devices of legacy and current system variations.
Review test procedures, data, and technical documents to provide feedback and recommend process improvements.
Qualifications:
Active Secret Clearance
Proven experience in setting up and conducting tests on electronic assemblies and testing apparatus.
Proficiency in adjusting and calibrating systems, including modifying electronic equipment as required.
Skilled in troubleshooting assets by replacing parts or components, using small power and hand tools, and various testing and measurement devices.
Experience in determining tests to be performed on equipment for fleet and engineering support.
Ability to develop and modify test procedures for building, testing, and storage of legacy equipment and apparatus.
Experience in inspecting, installing, maintaining, testing, troubleshooting, and repairing electronic systems and components.
Proficiency in constructing, troubleshooting, testing, diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining equipment, components, and devices of legacy and current system variations.
Hands-on experience with oscilloscopes.
An ACTIVE U.S. Government Security Clearance is Required to be considered for this role.
