Salary: $35 – $45/hour (based on experience)

Job Summary:

We are seeking a licensed E2 Electrician to support operations at a large industrial manufacturing facility in Bridgeport, CT . This is a direct hire position with excellent overtime earning potential, especially for those willing to participate in an on-call schedule. Ideal candidates will bring industrial electrical experience, a flexible attitude toward scheduling, and strong troubleshooting skills with manufacturing equipment. Experience with CNC machines and Rockwell Automation SLC is highly preferred.

Principal Responsibilities:

• Perform electrical maintenance, repairs, and troubleshooting within an industrial/manufacturing facility
• Support equipment uptime for machinery, including CNCs, automation systems, and production lines
• Safely handle electrical wiring, panel work, conduit installation, and system diagnostics
• Work in compliance with OSHA, NEC, and facility safety standards
• Participate in the on-call rotation; additional voluntary on-call hours offer significant earning potential
• Document all work performed and communicate effectively with the maintenance and production teams
• Ensure timely and safe responses to equipment failures and maintenance requests
• Assist with system upgrades, installations, and continuous improvement projects
• All other duties as assigned

Requirements & Qualifications:

• Valid E2 Electrical License (State of CT) – Required
• Minimum 2+ years of experience working as an electrician in an industrial or manufacturing setting
• Experience with Rockwell Automation SLC systems – Preferred
• Background with CNC machinery – Preferred
• Ability to read electrical schematics and perform system diagnostics
• Strong communication skills and the ability to work independently or within a team
• Willingness to work flexible hours and participate in on-call scheduling

Work Environment:

This role operates in a high-volume industrial manufacturing facility. Candidates must be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with exposure to machinery, electrical systems, and occasional extended hours.
