Kelly is now hiring Electric Pallet Jack Operators for a company in Lake Hamilton, FL

First day will be 3-4 hours of pallet jack certification and they will report back to work on Wednesday, 11/27 at 7am. Their shift will start at 7am daily but the ending time will vary between 12-8pm depending on the shipping schedule. The assignment is estimated to run from 11/27-12/14 and we anticipate working Monday-Saturday during those weeks.

Job Summary:

As an Order Selector, you will be responsible for efficiently selecting and preparing orders for schools and businesses. You will review order details, calculate pallet quantities, and stack items in a specific sequence. Your attention to detail and ability to stack items without damage will be crucial in ensuring accurate and timely order fulfillment. You will also be responsible for wrapping pallets, completing drop sheets, and verifying counts with the supervisor. This role requires precision, organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Roles and Responsibilities:

• Review order details, including size, variety, container, brand, quantity, and pallet quantity.

• Calculate full pallets using the pallet quantity percentages and a calculator.

• Stack items on pallets, ensuring heavier boxes are placed at the bottom and smaller boxes on top.

• Take special care with pineapples and Candy-Gator Baskets, ensuring they are not stacked upon.

• Wrap pallets with plastic wrap in a crisscross pattern.

• Fill out Drop Sheets with school information and the number of cases for each item on the pallet.

• Write your name on the Drop Sheet and glue it to the plastic wrap on each pallet.

• Present the pallets to the supervisor for count verification.

• Correct any counting mistakes as instructed by the supervisor.

• Proceed to the next pallet and repeat the process until all items from the order are selected.

• Turn in completed paperwork at the end of the order.

• Request a new order to continue working.
