Job Description
• Sort garments based on fabric type, color, and cleaning requirements.
• Inspect garments for stains and apply appropriate treatments to ensure effective removal.
• Operate and monitor the dry cleaning machine, ensuring proper cleaning cycles are followed.
• Perform basic maintenance on the dry cleaning machine to ensure optimal performance.
• Assist customers at the counter, addressing inquiries, processing orders, and providing information on services offered.
• Maintain accurate records of customer orders and ensure proper tagging and tracking of garments.
• Stay informed about various fabrics and clothing brands to provide knowledgeable service.
• Work efficiently under pressure, especially during peak business hours, to meet customer demands.
• Previous experience in a dry cleaning or laundry environment is preferred but not required.
• Familiarity with different fabric types and appropriate cleaning methods.
• Basic mechanical aptitude for performing routine maintenance on equipment.
• Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with a diverse clientele.
• Bilingual in Spanish and English is highly desirable.
• Ability to work under pressure and manage time effectively.
• Attention to detail to ensure high-quality service and customer satisfaction.
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and handle garments of varying weights.
