Milwaukee Paws Pet Care is a woman owned small business that provides peace of mind to local pet parents by offering top notch dog walking and pet sitting services. We are a team of animal lovers who are dedicated to offering the best service to our clients.
We are seeking additions to our dog walking and pet sitting team. As a dog walker, you will be greeted by happy pups with wagging tails and lots of love! You will drive to individual client homes and will follow a detailed care plan to ensure that every pet is cared for as if their owners were there!
Milwaukee Paws team members are trained in how to safely work with reactive dogs, shy dogs, or nervous dogs. While we do not require you to have the knowledge, you will be required to complete trainings to gain the knowledge needed to keep you and the dogs safe! Trainings include:
- Leash skills
- Fear free training
- Pet first aid/CPR
- Customer service
- Canine Body Language
What can you expect when working for us?- Pay starts at $13 per hour with regular pay increases
- Limited holidays scheduled: While we work 365 days a year, each employee is only scheduled for 3 holidays per year.

Our ideal candidate will: - Love animals- we work with dogs, cats, fish, rabbits, fetters, birds, and more!
- Have great attention to detail: our care plans are personalize to each pet, and we demand a high degree of attention to detail to provide owners with peace of mind!
- Be willing to improve their skill set through learning, trainings and feedback. We are not interested in candidates who do not wish to improve.
- Have a working smart phone- this job requires communication through an app to clients and other team members, therefore a working smart phone is required as part of this job
- Have access to reliable transportation and insurance. Candidates will be driving from home to home within our service area, and may be asked to transport dogs in their cars. It is required that our team members have a vehicle that is reliable and insured.
- Have good communication skills- team members are often speaking with clients, team members, pet parents and vendors. Communication is key.
- Be comfortable working independently and in a team setting!
