DIRECTOR OF EMERGENCY SERVICES

Location: Allentown, PA - Full Time

Our Client provides professional residential and commercial property emergency restoration services for disasters of all sizes; from water and flood damage, to fire damage and mold remediation, our Client's professionals are available 24/7 to clean up and repair property.

Role Objective:
  • Provide immediate response and assistance to fire/disaster victims utilizing our comprehensive Victim Assistance Program
  • Serve as primary liaison between our Client and first responder community including fire departments, police, EMS, dispatchers, Red Cross and other key emergency personnel
  • Educate community stakeholders and the public about our emergency response services and victim assistance capabilities
  • Coordinate rapid deployment of emergency services teams to disaster scenes
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with first responder networks to ensure seamless emergency response coordination
Responsibilities and Qualifications

Required Experience:

  • 5+ years of experience in emergency services, first responder protocols, or emergency management
  • Demonstrated knowledge of fire department, police, EMS, and emergency dispatch operations
  • Strong understanding of disaster response procedures and victim assistance protocols
  • Experience working collaboratively with emergency response agencies and community organizations

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills for community outreach and education
  • Ability to respond quickly and effectively in high-stress emergency situations
  • Strong presentation skills for training and educational programs
  • Crisis management and problem-solving abilities
  • Leadership experience in emergency or high-pressure environments

Desired Qualifications:

  • Background in fire service, law enforcement, EMS, emergency management, or related field
  • Experience with Red Cross or similar disaster relief organizations
  • Knowledge of property restoration or insurance industry
  • Bilingual capabilities (market dependent)
  • Valid driver's license and ability to travel within assigned territory
