Job Title : Design Studio Assistant

Location : Madrona, Seattle

We're seeking a motivated, detail-oriented individual who loves art and design to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work hands-on with our lab equipment (3D printers, laser printing, fabrication tools), contribute to exciting design projects, and support our fulfillment process.

Job Responsibilities:

• #1: Order Fulfillment and Studio Support

• Ensure accuracy and timely delivery of orders, contributing to a seamless fulfillment process
• Support the overall studio workflow, from concept development to order fulfillment

• #2: 3D and Laser Printing

• Operate and maintain commercial 3D printers and laser printing equipment
• Assist with 3D modeling and printing tasks using CAD software
• Troubleshoot to ensure optimal performance and quality of printing equipment

• #3: Furniture Fabrication and Support

• Use hands-on skills to assist in the fabrication of innovative furniture designs
• Support general studio tasks, including organization and administrative duties as needed

Preferred Qualifications:

Skills

• Experience with 3D printing and modeling
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment

Experience

• Recent graduate in Industrial Design or Art preferred
• Experience with laser printing is a plus
• Craftsmanship experience
