Job Type Full-timeDescription Preparing patients for dental work.Helping with infection control by sterilizing and disinfecting instruments, setting up instrument trays, preparing materials, and assisting with dental procedures.Assisting Dentist in managing medical and dental emergencies when necessary.Assisting Dentist with procedures Recording treatment information in patient records.Exposing dental x-rays from dental diagnostics and caring for dental x-ray equipment.Communicate information on dental hygiene, oral health care, and plaque control programs to patients and parents.Collecting and recording medical and dental histories and patient vital signs.Providing postoperative instructions as directed by the dentist.Caring for/Maintaining dental equipment.Other duties as assigned Requirements Must enjoy working with childrenAt least 1 year of pediatric dental assisting experience is preferred PMS (Dox) expereince preferredSelf-motivated, organized, and have a positive, can-do attitudePossess good understanding of dental terminologyExcellent communication and written skillsExperienced in delivering high-level customer serviceHIgh attention to detailCommitted to the position arriving on time daily and staying late as needed Salary Description $21-26 DOE TN Specialty Dental Services, PLLC
