Job Description At Technomic, we're seeking a detail-oriented Data Entry Assistant to join our Data Management team in a part-time, remote capacity. This role is crucial in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our menu data, contributing directly to our business intelligence services in the food and beverage industry.
As a Data Entry Assistant, you'll have the opportunity to:

Responsibilities
- Accurately collect, organize, and input menu data into our systems
- Utilize internet resources for thorough research and data verification
- Collaborate closely with the Team Lead to ensure data quality and timeliness
- Manage data using Microsoft Office Suite, with a focus on Excel proficiency
- Extract and process information from PDF documents
- Maintain strict confidentiality with sensitive information
- Assist in creating reports and summaries based on collected data
- Meet deadlines for quarterly menu updates
Qualifications Required: - Ability to work a minimum of 25 hours per week (up to 29 hours available)
- Personal desktop computer or laptop with secure internet connection
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Self-motivation and ability to work independently
- Deadline-oriented mindset
- Professional approach with adaptability and eagerness to learn
Preferred: - Previous experience in data entry or related roles
- Basic understanding of the food, beverage, and restaurant industry
- Familiarity with menu structures
