Job Description
Our team has 2 openings for a Cyber Security Engineer position. As a Cyber Security Engineer, you will deliver technical and network solutions to secure, maintain, and upgrade the online public portals utilizing cutting edge internet technologies and services. Primary responsibilities include:
•Research, develop, maintain, and document methods and portal tools and work with internal and external teams to develop, document, and implement security and operations requirements
•Support the customer's Risk Management Framework to ensure that the program addresses and mitigates vulnerabilities and risks identified throughout the lifecycle of the project
•Track work requirements and action items to meet program deadlines and interface with stakeholders to ensure user stories are recorded
Job Requirements
•Experience configuring Virtual Private Servers (VPSs), Virtual Private Networks (VPNs), and Virtual Private Clouds (VPCs); experience with social media or commercial messaging applications; and an understanding of mobile technologies and applications
•Experience troubleshooting network connectivity and performance issues, and working with network monitoring tools
•Experience scripting with Python, developing web interfaces with JavaScript/HTML/CSS or User Interface (UI) frameworks is highly desirable
•Experience with internet networking and encryption protocols, and deep knowledge of how browsers interact with websites and browser security settings
•Experience utilizing Content Delivery Networks and an understanding of how they interact with public services and websites
•Experience using Tor and configuring and maintaining Tor Onion Services, and knowledge of open/dark web security settings and tools
•Experience analyzing cyber selector data, system logs, and network traffic; experience conducting network and browser troubleshooting and experience designing and developing targeted content and messages using Confluence
•Experience identifying, defining, analyzing, tracking, and reviewing requirements directly with customers
