Job Description
We are offering an exciting opportunity for a Sr. Cyber Security Engineer to join our team in Anaheim, CA . Your role will involve the development and implementation of effective security measures to protect the integrity of our network and data. You will be tasked with maintaining and monitoring various security technologies, as well as identifying and resolving security issues.
Responsibilities:
• Architecting and maintaining the cybersecurity posture of our organization, ensuring the usability and integrity of our network and data.
• Implementing and supporting cyber security technologies and practices.
• Conducting audits of enterprise systems to ensure alignment with industry best practices.
• Overseeing and participating in penetration testing and security risk assessments, including remediation of discovered vulnerabilities.
• Ensuring data classification and protection in accordance with regulatory requirements.
• Designing and deploying Role Based Access control in the cloud.
• Managing security-related systems and appliances.
• Leading efforts to automate patch management and ensure timely patching of systems.
• Identifying and resolving security incidents, collaborating with IT teams.
• Architecting secure cloud-based solutions.
• Managing organization-wide security awareness training.
• Mentoring entry level Engineers.
• Bachelor's degree in computer science or related field preferred
• Security related certifications such as CEH, CISSP, CCSP, OSCP, Azure Security
• Minimum of 7 years of experience with IDS, IPS, End Point Protection tools, Next Generation Firewalls, and SDWAN appliances.
• Minimum of 7 years with batch file scripting and PowerShell scripting.
Minimum of 7 years of experience with Linux Operating Systems.
• Experience with various Security platforms including vulnerability scanning and penetration testing and using industry standards.
• Experience with Cisco ASA and other Cisco Technologies
• Familiarity with Cloud Technologies
• Expertise in Firewall Technologies
• Experience in Configuration Management
• Deep understanding of Cyber Security
• Ability to develop and implement Cyber Security Strategy
• Experience in managing Cybersecurity Compliance
• Knowledge of Cyber Security Policies
• Proficiency in Linux
