Job Overview:

Were hiring a Customer Sales and Service Representative who can wear two hats sales and support with confidence. Youll be the friendly voice on the phone and the strategic guide clients trust when its time to protect their families and assets. This role blends customer care with active policy sales and retention.

Responsibilities:

• Answer inbound service calls and assist with billing, claims, and policy changes
• Set and coordinate Farmers Friendly Reviews to maintain coverage accuracy and retention
• Generate new business from warm leads provided by the agency (no cold-calling)
• Prepare quotes, present coverage options, and close personal lines policies (Auto, Home, Life, Umbrella, Boat, etc.)
• Cross-sell and upsell existing clients based on identified needs
• Take walk-in payments and support day-to-day office operations
• Maintain strong follow-up habits and build long-term client relationships

Requirements:

• Texas General Lines Property & Casualty License (required)
• Life, Accident & Health License (preferred, not mandatory)
• Minimum 3 months experience in insurance sales or customer service
• Strong communication, organization, and follow-up skills
• Must pass a background check (state, federal, and county)
• Bilingual (Spanish) is a big plus, but not required
