ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

• Hours 10:00am - 6:30pm
• Sweep, Mop, and Sanitize up to 10 classrooms / areas each night.
• Perform major cleaning tasks such as vacuuming, wet-mopping, sweeping, dusting, emptying the trash (lifting waste paper and debris - minimum of 55 lbs.), dusting, cleaning whiteboards, and disinfecting drinking fountains.
• Clean restrooms, including floors and all fixtures (i.e.: urinals, toilets, sinks, mirrors, partitions, and counters). Ensure restrooms are clean and disinfected.

• Carry boxes up and down 3 flights of stairs.

• Must be able to go up and downstairs and undertake bending and standing as needed in a daily shift.

• Promptly report major repairs as needed to the Site Coordinator.
• Occasional painting, repair work, set up and break down for events.
• Assist our school security staff with coverage, arrival, and dismissal procedures.

• Maintain the appearance of hallways throughout the building by washing and buffing floors.

INDSUPPORT

Requirements

• High School diploma or G.E.D.
• Able to pass DOE criminal background check

• Ability to lift 55 pounds to shoulder height occasionally
• Has a teamwork and growth mindset
• Work in a fast-paced environment

The following are a plus but not a requirement:

• Black Seal Low Pressure
• Ability to work occasional weekends
• Experience working in school settings
