Job Description

We are currently working with a nationally recognized law firm that is seeking a dedicated Corporate Litigation Paralegal to join their New York City office. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to corporate governance matters and support a dynamic legal team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Conduct legal research using Westlaw, LexisNexis, PACER, and more.
• Prepare, finalize, and file legal documents.
• Manage assigned cases independently, focusing on corporate governance, M&A, and shareholder rights.
• Draft, proofread, and cite-check legal documents.
• Organize case files and track deadlines.
• Assist with depositions and maintain accurate time entries.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree required.
• 5+ years of litigation paralegal experience in a law firm.
• Strong cite-checking and Bluebooking skills.
• Proficient in legal research tools and Microsoft Office.
• Excellent organizational and communication skills.
• Knowledge of Federal/State rules and PACER.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with class actions and Chancery Court proceedings is a plus.

Work Environment:

• This is a full-time, non-exempt position based in New York, NY.
• This hybrid role typically requires 4 days in-office (Tuesdays and Wednesdays) and allows for 1-2 days of remote work.
