Position Summary: The Site Superintendent I will oversee daily operations on construction sites, ensuring efficient logistics, safety compliance, and effective communication with clients. This role requires a thorough understanding of contract documents and a commitment to maintaining a professional atmosphere that prioritizes project success. The Site Superintendent I typically manages smaller or fewer project sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist in developing the project schedule with subcontractors and suppliers.
  • Contribute to the schedule of values and update project completion percentages for invoicing.
  • Ensure efficient site logistics to prevent disruptions to client operations.
  • Work closely with the safety director to adhere to safety protocols.
  • Maintain open lines of communication with clients to uphold project timelines.
  • Collaborate with clients to manage union and non-union labor disputes effectively.
  • Implement the organization's quality control plan and communicate any concerns to management.

Qualifications:

  • Must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in English.
  • Ability to navigate various work environments, including construction sites.
  • Comfortable with prolonged periods of sitting or standing and utilizing office equipment.
  • Valid driver's license required for commuting to local and regional project sites.
  • Willingness to travel occasionally for overnight stays at remote sites.
