A Service Foreman is responsible to conduct the field operations of the maintenance and repair division in a field leadership role while using the latest up to date electronic technology to communicate with customers as well as our office.

Job Duties

• Produce projects on time and within budget
• Monitor and direct productivity of crew
• Set priorities, goals and timelines for projects
• Communicate professionally and accurately about the project
• Follow all Standard operating Procedures (SOP)
• Manage workload and preplan equipment along with supplies
• Trains and develop apprentice in the trade of Commercial Roofing
• Develop and maintain customer service with new and established customers

• 18 years of age or older
• Ability to pass pre-hire physical and pre-hire drug screen
• Valid Driver's License with no restriction
• Must be comfortable working more than 6 ft off of the ground
• Cary out duties in varying outdoor climate conditions for extended periods of time
• Reach, lift and maneuver supplies and ladders up to 50 lbs
• Stand, walk, climb stairs and ladders, bend, stoop, twist and turn frequently
• Good manual dexterity and eye-hand coordination
• Basic computer skills and ability to learn new software
• Minimum experience as a journeyman roofer for a period of 2 years
• Understand all major roofing manufacturer's warranty details
• OSHA 10 hour course/Manlift/Forklift/First Aid certifications (if not, Upson will certify/recertify)
