A prestigious boutique law firm in Orange County, specializing in providing high-quality legal services to businesses and individuals across a wide range of commercial litigation matters is seeking a talented and motivated Commercial Litigation Attorney with 2-5 years of experience to join their growing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in commercial litigation, including handling complex disputes, drafting legal documents, and managing cases from inception to resolution. Key Responsibilities:

• Represent clients in a wide range of commercial litigation matters, including contract disputes, business torts, real estate, and partnership disputes.
• Manage a caseload from start to finish, including case strategy, discovery, motion practice, depositions, hearings, and trial preparation.
• Draft and review legal documents, including complaints, answers, motions, discovery requests, and settlement agreements.
• Provide legal advice and counsel to clients, offering strategic insights into potential outcomes and litigation risks.
• Work closely with senior attorneys and collaborate with other team members on complex cases.
• Negotiate settlements and represent clients in mediation and arbitration proceedings.
• Keep clients informed on case developments and manage expectations throughout the litigation process.

Qualifications:

• Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
• 2-5 years of experience in commercial litigation (experience in business disputes, contract law, or real estate is a plus).
• Strong knowledge of California state and federal court rules and procedures.
• Excellent legal writing, research, and analytical skills.
• Proven ability to handle multiple tasks and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build client relationships.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Admitted to practice in California (active and in good standing member of the State Bar).

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with e-discovery and case management tools.
• Trial experience or a desire to gain trial experience.
• A passion for growing within a boutique law firm and contributing to its continued success.
