CLS (Coddington Lock & Security) is seeking a highly experienced Door, Frame, and Hardware Technician. This position requires being located or relocated to San Diego County.

Qualifications:

• The work is all commercial and knowledge of hollow metal and wood doors and frames, glass aluminum storefront doors, architectural flush wood doors, and herculite glass doors is required.
• Product knowledge about, but not limited to, Von Duprin, Adams-Rite, LCN, Norton, Rixson, Command Access, H.E.S., RCI, SDC, Keedex, and Pemko is required.
• Occasional welding is required.
• The electrification of exit devices and installation of door operators is required.
• The ability to walk jobs and work with a sales representative to generate quotes is required.
• 3-5 years of experience as a commercial door technician is required, please include details of your experience during the application

CLS has a wide variety of commercial clients ranging from commercial property management, HOA and apartment property management, K-12 and school districts, cities, restaurant chains, bio-tech companies, churches, casinos, hotels, and construction companies. The only residential work will be for commercial clients who need occasional help.

CLS also provides full commercial locksmith and access control sales, service, and installation. We are Intertek certified to core fire rated doors and recertify.

CLS service territory includes all of San Diego County and occasionally southern Orange County, Murrieta, and El Centro if necessary.
