Job Description

We are seeking a highly creative and detail-oriented Assistant Color & Print Designer to join our dynamic design team.

In this role, you will coordinate and execute commercially viable and brand-right color and print concepts for seasonal collections, ensuring alignment with the brand's aesthetic and business strategies. You will track trends, consumer insights, and fabric innovations to help develop compelling color and print stories that elevate our product offerings.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute brand-right color and print stories that align with seasonal concepts and fabric programs, from ideation through final production.
• Collaborate with the design team to create innovative prints and novelty raw materials that enhance the total product assortment.
• Work with CAD teams to develop print artwork for various product categories, ensuring proper layout, scale, and technical feasibility across different fabric types.
• Utilize NED Graphics and Adobe Suite to recolor print artwork and create multiple colorway options for review.
• Prepare and maintain print presentation boards using Illustrator & InDesign , and communicate color and print direction to cross-functional teams.
• Partner with cross-functional teams such as Print Technologists and Raw Materials teams to develop and execute high-quality prints while adhering to technical requirements.
• Review print strike-offs and fabric samples with the Print and Design teams to ensure quality, layout, and color accuracy.
• Maintain print development records , track approvals, and update print charts throughout the development cycle.
• Follow the design calendar to meet key deadlines and ensure timely execution of color and print deliverables.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Fashion/Textile Design or a related field.
• 1-3 years of experience in color and print design, preferably in a retail or fashion brand environment.
• Strong understanding of color theory, print production, and repeat layouts.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and InDesign.
• Basic knowledge of NED Graphics or similar print design software (preferred).
• Excellent organizational and time management skills with the ability to prioritize tasks effectively.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills , with the ability to work cross-functionally.
• Detail-oriented, proactive, and adaptable in a fast-paced environment.
• A strong portfolio showcasing color and print work (experience with intimates is a plus).
