Specifically, you will manage the groups of internship BPA Call Orders. You will formulate and enforce work standards, assign schedules, review work, and supervise personnel to ensure smooth operation.

What does a typical day look like for the Internship Support Service Project Manager ?

You will:

  • Serve as the contract manager and authorized interface with the Government Contracting Officer
  • Formulate and enforce work standards
  • Assign work schedules
  • Review the work completed by the groups of internship BPA Call Orders
  • Supervise personnel
  • Monitor the progress of the groups of internship BPA Call Orders
  • Resolve discrepancies to ensure compliance
  • Ensure that the technical solutions and schedules in the BPA Call Order(s) are implemented within estimated timeframes and budget constraints
  • Have a comprehensive and executable candidate selection and marketing program
  • Possess relationships with at least 3 Historically Black Colleges and Universities or programs for underrepresented students

What qualifications do you look for?

You might be the candidate we're looking for if you have:

  • Academic teaching experience
  • The ability to provide remote support
  • At least 5 years' experience recruiting and managing program applicants or interns from the college level
  • At least five years' prior experience delivering evidence-based experiential or internship programs;
  • At least 5 years' experience in college level workforce development
  • Early engagement experience: experience working with and identifying candidates within the past three (3) years
  • Pre-existing relationships with schools, community groups, and local officials
  • Experience hosting marketing engagements and career days where speaking with students who are in vocational or work-study programs was possible
  • Experience working with economically underserved communities and students that are underrepresented (i.e., racial and ethnic minorities)
