Purpose of the role:

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Closing Coordinator to support our mortgage lending operations. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing, managing, and coordinating loan documents to ensure timely delivery to title companies, while also communicating with borrowers to schedule closings.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

· Receive and review loan files from the Underwriting department once cleared to close

· Schedule closing appointments by calling and emailing borrowers

· Respond to inbound calls and emails related to closing coordination

· Ensure all loan documents are complete, accurate, and compliant before submission to title companies

· Maintain regular communication with title companies, loan officers, and internal staff to ensure a smooth closing process

· Manage and track document flow to meet deadlines and compliance standards

Education and Experience

· Previous experience in mortgage closing, real estate transactions, or a similar administrative role preferred

• Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
• Familiarity with mortgage closing software and document compliance a plus
• Strong organizational and multitasking skills with high attention to detail
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Self-motivated and dependable; able to work independently and as part of a team
