About the Role

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the vision, strategy, and implementation of patient safety activities, with a focus on creating a robust patient safety culture, participating in root cause analysis, and tracking data for national patient safety goals. Key qualifications include residency training, board certification in a respective specialty, and a preference for a Master's degree in a relevant field. The role also involves supporting system-wide patient safety initiatives, coordinating safety surveys, and mentoring staff on safety goals and reporting. Applicants for the Chief Patient Safety Officer position at the company should possess strong leadership and change management skills, be certified in patient safety, and demonstrate superior organizational and project management abilities. The role requires a candidate with a desire to work with multiple stakeholders and the ability to remain positive and supportive in high-stress situations.
