Chief Medical Officer (CMO)

As the Chief Medical Officer (CMO), you will report directly to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and play a pivotal role in fostering strong relationships between hospital leadership and medical staff. In this role, you will be instrumental in the recruitment of new physicians and work collaboratively to support a positive and productive healthcare environment.

The CMO works closely with key members of the administrative team, providing guidance and leadership to enhance patient care and outcomes. You will be responsible for developing policies and leading initiatives that drive improvements in healthcare delivery and patient experience.

Key Responsibilities:

Serve as a bridge between hospital management and medical staff to ensure seamless communication and collaboration.
Lead efforts to enhance patient care by shaping policies, processes, and care strategies.
Play a central role in physician recruitment, onboarding, and mentorship.
Partner with administrative leaders to improve overall healthcare quality and operational effectiveness.
Qualifications:

Medical degree (MD or DO) with completed residency training in a recognized specialty and board certification in that specialty.
Strongly preferred: Management degree (MBA, MHA, MMM, MPH) or equivalent leadership training.
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills.
Demonstrated leadership abilities with a proven track record of success in medical and administrative environments.
In-depth knowledge of hospital structures, operations, and quality/utilization infrastructures.
Expertise in medical staff processes, including policies, procedures, and physician recruitment.
Employment Type: Full-Time
Salary: $ 190,000.00 Per Year
