About the Role
The Company is in search of a Chief Medical Officer to join its Senior Leadership Team. The successful candidate will be responsible for building and growing the clinical function, leading clinical study activities, and supporting critical regulatory tasks. This role involves managing the execution of global clinical trials, developing study protocols, engaging with medical and scientific experts, and overseeing the analysis and reporting of clinical trial data. The Chief Medical Officer will also represent the company in various external interactions, including with the investment, medical, and regulatory communities. Applicants must have an MD or MD/PhD with a minimum of 10 years' clinical trial experience in oncology drug development within the biotech or pharmaceutical industry. A background in the development of monoclonal antibodies or ADCs is preferred. The role requires deep expertise in early clinical development, global regulatory and compliance requirements, and a proven track record in leading cross-functional clinical teams. Strong communication skills are essential for articulating the company's clinical development and regulatory vision to a range of audiences. Experience in both small and large companies is highly valued.
